About
Georgetown University Dance Company (GUDC) is a self-producing academic dance ensemble where members enroll in a course to receive academic credit. GUDC focuses on technique classes and performances, as well as the development of arts administration, production, and leadership skills. Auditions and acceptance into GUDC are highly competitive. All GUDC members attend two technique classes per week and up to 12 hours per week of rehearsal time. GUDC presents one concert each semester, featuring the choreography of students, faculty, and professional guest choreographers.
